PPL and government

PPL work with governments in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world in protection of copyright to ensure that people who invest their time, money and talent in music are fairly paid for their work.

PPL works closely with key music industry bodies to ensure the voices of our members are heard, including UK Music, Creative Coalition, IFPI and various organisations throughout the world.

We also work with business organisations such as the CBI, Trading Standards and Citizens Advice Bureau to ensure that our licensees are getting value for money and the UK's creative economy is protected.
